ABOUT US
Our Principal partner, Cris Buch, commenced trading as Central Carpentry Contractors in the early 1990's involved primarily in timber framing, cladding & second fix carpentry works in both the smaller commercial and domestic building sector. During this time Cris completed his Diploma of Advanced Building & Construction and commenced tendering for and completing larger supply & install contracts. In 2002, the business evolved into Buch Constructions when the majority of works being completed were in the larger commercial fit out & facade sector. Around this time Peter Buch joined Cris bringing with him commercial project management and site supervision skills developed during his time working with Buildwise Pty Ltd, Bovis Lend Lease Ltd, A J Chappell Pty Ltd, Badge Constructions Pty Ltd and Fletcher Constructions Ltd.
Our management team consists of:
Cris Buch as Project Manager and Estimator for our larger commercial carpentry & fit out projects,
Peter Buch as Project Manager and Estimator for our general construction and carpentry projects, and
Janet Buch as Contracts Administrator and Financial Manager.
We are supported by a loyal core team of 7 tradesmen who manage additional tradesmen as required and apprentices hired from the Master Builders Group Training Scheme. We also engage a number of specialist subcontractors on a project needs basis.
Cris and Peter have a combined 60 years industry experience They initially started out as tradesmen and then progressed into estimating and project management as the business grew and further training was undertaken. Janet has worked both in the finance and building industries for a combined 40+ years, completed her Advanced Diploma in Accounting in 1992 and is a fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants.
Our large workshop is equipped to allow us to pre-fabricate and assemble timber products such as doors, frames, skirting, architraves and specialist timber items which alleviates congestion and excess waste on building sites.
